Paul Leibowitz is an Organisational Psychologist and Managing Director of Purple Talent Solutions, with more than two decades of experience helping organisations translate strategy into sustained performance.

Drawing on his work through Bioss Southern Africa and EDAC, Paul has partnered with executive teams across industries to align strategy, structure, and people in ways that drive measurable impact. His approach blends rigorous behavioural science with practical, commercially grounded solutions.

A trusted advisor to boards and senior leaders, Paul is known for his ability to navigate complexity, guide organisations through change, and strengthen leadership capability in times of growth and uncertainty. He brings clarity where others see ambiguity, enabling leaders to make better decisions and build resilient, high-performing cultures.

Paul, a registered Organisational Psychologist, leads business development at BIOSS Southern Africa, driving the organisation’s growth and market positioning since joining in 2014. He brings deep expertise in talent assessment and management, helping organisations attract, develop, and retain critical capability. With extensive experience across sectors including banking, manufacturing, and mining, Paul partners with leaders to strengthen people and performance systems.

EDAC

Director (2019 – Present)

Paul serves as Director at EDAC, driving business growth by building and sustaining strategic partnerships with consulting firms around the globe. In this distribution-focused model, he enables partners to expand their businesses by providing technical expertise, product training, and specialist knowledge. He supports marketing initiatives and guides partners on effectively delivering EDAC solutions in their regions. Through these efforts, Paul strengthens relationships, fosters growth, and ensures the global impact of EDAC’s talent and organisational solutions.

Paul is married to Tracy and is a proud father of teenage twins. A passionate sports enthusiast, he enjoys running marathons, surfing, and training at the gym, valuing physical activity as a key way to balance work and life. He also loves travelling and cherishes time spent with family and friends.

Peter Taylor M.Sc., FCIPD

Peter is a director of Purple Talent Solutions and has over twenty-five years’ consultancy experience working internationally with a variety of client organisations across the private, public and third sectors. Prior to his current position he held the Managing Director role of Bioss Europe for over ten years.

The core of Peter’s work continues to be the alignment of strategy, structure and people leading to the effective development of people and work. Prior to consultancy he worked in leadership roles within Human Resources, the last of which was Director of Human Resources & Quality for a major financial services organisation in the UK. He has experience of using the EFQM Excellence Model as one method of delivering organisational transformation and led a team that won the British Quality Foundation’s annual quality award, the first Financial Services organisation to do so in the UK.

  • Working with Boards and management teams to facilitate leadership effectiveness within senior teams and navigate complexity to bring improved value to organisations.
  • Advising on the talent and succession strategies of clients, including the assessment and identification of emerging talent, development planning and the highlighting of potential talent gaps.
  • Development and selection evaluations at senior level with a variety of clients to identify key strengths, development areas and potential risks.
  • Provision of coaching to a number of executives and managers to bring about improved leadership effectiveness, utilising practical tools and approaches over a wide range of subject areas.  This coaching includes people transitioning from one role to another where there is often a need to take on a broader and more complex remit, whilst ‘letting go’ of some past activities in order to add value to the organisation.
  • Conducting a variety of organisational effectiveness reviews to bring about improved role clarity, coherent decision-making lines, reducing duplication of work and aligning accountabilities and authorities leading to more agile organisations.

Jacques Haworth

Jacques Haworth is an experienced organisational specialist with deep expertise in assessment, assessment centres, training, coaching, competency design, organisational design, talent management, career development, and succession planning.

With more than 20 years of experience in the organisational field, Jacques has worked both locally and internationally across a wide range of industries, including mining, financial services, pharmaceuticals, transportation, FMCG, and government. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale organisational design and development initiatives, helping organisations align their structures, people, and capabilities with strategic goals.

Jacques has extensive experience partnering with clients to design and implement assessment centres, competency frameworks, and talent management models and processes. He has also developed robust assessment practices and delivered a variety of bespoke strategies and development interventions aimed at building internal capability and empowering organisations to grow and sustain their talent.

He is passionate about designing organisations that are both requisite and adaptable, enabling the optimal utilisation of people as a true competitive advantage.

Lisa Ashton

Lisa Ashton is Managing Director of BIOSS Southern Africa and an Industrial Psychologist with over 30 years of experience helping organisations translate strategy into sustained people performance. Drawing on her M.Com in Human Resources Management, Lisa specialises in executive assessment, leadership development, and building people strategies that deliver real organisational results.

Known for her intuitive, no-nonsense approach to complex problems, Lisa combines psychological insight with executive capability and deep business acumen. She has worked extensively across Africa, South America, Europe, India, the UAE, and the US, and has been responsible for training the majority of CPA and BIOSS practitioners worldwide. Her current focus includes AI and Human working relationships and decision-making under complexity, grounded in her firm belief that “without courage, wisdom bears no fruit.”

BIOSS Southern Africa Managing Director (1996 – Present)

Lisa leads the strategic direction and ongoing growth of BIOSS Southern Africa, overseeing its long-term viability and sustainability. She is responsible for the organisation’s most complex and relationship-sensitive consulting assignments, working with executive teams across industries to develop people strategies that deliver on organisational intent. As one of a few M/CPA Trainers in the world, she holds a global role in training, accreditation, and standards within BIOSS International, and has played a key role in establishing BIOSS operations in Colombia and India.

Lisa serves as Director at EDAC, supporting the global distribution of EDAC’s talent and organisational solutions. She works with consulting partners across regions, providing technical expertise, product training, and specialist knowledge to enable effective delivery.

Lisa is married to Ian and is a mother of three. She is co-author of four books: “Wisdom at Work”, “Leadership at the Coalface”, “Organisational Design in Uber Times”, and “OD Practices in Africa”. She has a passion for people, travel, farming, and the African bush, and brings the same curiosity to her leisure time that drives her professional thinking.

Sonia Jardim

Sonia Jardim is the Head of Operations at Purple Talent Solutions and a Registered Psychometrist with an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology. With over nine years of experience in senior management roles, she plays a key role in driving operational excellence while ensuring the strategic integration of psychometric insights into business decision-making.

Sonia specializes in the application of psychometric assessments to support talent identification, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. She works closely with organizations to align business objectives with scientifically validated assessment solutions, enabling data-informed people decisions that strengthen workforce capability and performance.

As a trained Neuro Coach, Sonia brings an additional dimension to her work by supporting individuals and teams in unlocking potential, strengthening communication, and facilitating meaningful professional growth.

Sonia joined BIOSS SA in 2014, where she has played a key role in leveraging psychometric tools to support individuals and organisations in making informed people decisions. She has a particular passion for coaching and training, with a focus on unlocking potential and driving performance through data-driven insights.
